Chloe Turner awarded third place in Yeovil Novel Prize

Reflex Press author Chloe Turner has been awarded third-place in the Yeovil Novel Prize. Chloe’s as yet unpublished novel, Blue Hawk, was inspired by the 17th-century industrial landscape around her home near Stroud, Gloucestershire.

The competition judge, Vaseem Khan, said, “The quality of the work crept up on me as I found myself slowly immersed in a world brought wonderfully to life by the author … I found this an accomplished read and worthy of merit, a work that left me better informed and quietly intrigued.”

Congratulations, Chloe!

Chloe’s short story collection, Witches Sail in Eggshells, is available to buy from our online bookshop.
